What does kobukai stand for
“Kobukai” means literally
“school of old martial arts ”
Kobukai teaches several martial arts i.e. Karate, Iaijutsu, batto-ho with additional Jodo, Jitsu en Judo technics.
What is the intention of “Kobukai”
The first intention is to learn to defend yourself. The second intention is to honeur and spread the classical martial arts.
Subjects that are at order are: building up confidance, discipline, mental and fysical developmend and of course a sportive way of dealing with martial arts.
This with the objective to reduce or conclude agression to one another.
At Kobukai Budo is teached in the traditional way. Because of this an higher degree of efficiency is reached. There is asked for much concentration, discipline and endurance. The trainings are extremely variated. There are trainings inside and outside the dojo
The aim of the training in the dojo (training room) is based on the mental, fysical en technical grounds. The training outside the dojo on open ground are of an other nature and goal. The training outside the dojo take place in the forrest or at the sea. The aim of these trainings are based on mental and fysical grounds. Every training inside or outside the dojo and in summer or winter times are practiced barefooted and dressed in the normal karate or judo suit.
